Small Nudges that Make a Big Difference in Mathematics Teaching

Meet our keynote speaker:

Dr. Samuel Otten

Samuel Otten is a professor of mathematics education at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan but has been working in Missouri for 15 years, studying the standards for mathematical practices with students and working to support teachers in ways that fit into their busy schedules and build upon the great things they’re already doing. Samuel also hosts the Math Ed Podcast and is honored to be the Richard Miller Chair and the Lois Knowledge Faculty Fellow for mathematics teaching and learning at Mizzou.
