Small Moves, Big Mathematical Thinking: Building Better Practice Across Kansas

You Have Something Worth Sharing!

What small move has strengthened your students’ mathematical thinking or your own practice? The Kansas Association of Teachers of Mathematics invites you to share it. A thoughtful question, a useful routine, or a new way of responding to student thinking can give another teacher an idea to try.

We’re seeking 50-minute breakout sessions that help educators strengthen mathematics teaching and deepen student thinking and learning. We welcome classroom teachers, instructional coaches, curriculum specialists, school and district leaders, higher education faculty, preservice educators, graduate students, and mathematics education partners to share at our conference.

First-time presenters are especially encouraged to submit a proposal!

Proposal Deadline: January 11th, 2027
